“Flag varieties are social objects: they like to talk to each other” – Leonardo Mihalcea

NOTE: The conference has now ended. The speakers have kindly given us numerous materials from their lectures. See the "Slides" tab for slides and notes. Videos are now available on this youtube channel. To contact the organizers, please email any of us directly, rather than using the conference email.

We present the 2023 Schubert Summer School @ UIUC, a 10-day conference and workshop focusing on Schubert calculus and the associated geometry and combinatorics. The summer school will be held at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from June 12th, 2023 to June 22nd, 2023. Talks will begin on the morning of June 13th and run through the morning of June 22nd, with June 12th and June 22nd as travel days.

The first half will primarily consist of several mini-courses, while the second half will consist of research talks. See the "Schedule" tab for more information.

Talks will occur in Room 1404 in the Thomas M. Siebel Center for Computer Science. (NOTE: This is a distinct building from the "Siebel Center for Design"). We will use Siebel 1302 as breakout space. The Siebel center is an easy seven-minute walk from the Illinois Union and ten-minute walk from ISR.

The application deadline for funding has now passed. Participants may still register on the appropriate tab.

Organizing Committee: Andrew Hardt, Reuven Hodges, Elizabeth Kelley, Avery St. Dizier, and Alexander Yong.
